Italian brand Diadora Heritage partners for the first time with Marc McNairy, the American fashion designer known for his complete devotion to craftsmanship. McNairy’s iconic combination of fresh Californian style and bold military mood meets Diadora Heritage classics and the brand’s exquisite savoir-faire for a collaboration that pivots on capturing the strongest elements of both.
The Camaro, a retro-running sneaker first created in 1985, has been reinterpreted by Mark McNairy using Cordura nylon on both quarter and vamp, in McNairy’s original camo print pattern. The reinforcement is in premium suede. Prior to assembly with an original Vibram molded EVA sole, the upper undergoes a stone washing treatment. Utmost attention to detail is represented by the number 19 on the backtab of the left shoe; as for the number 85 on the right shoe, it’s a nod to the year the shoe first appeared in the Diadora catalog. Lastly, the logos of both brands are shown on the leather insole and on the tongue, along with the “Veni Vidi Vici” payoff. Releasing September 13 at selected retailers such as hanon.
