Grenson x New Balance 576 "Phase two"

by Henrik Buzzi

After the phenomenal launch of the “One Shoe, Two Factories” collaboration between Grenson and New Balance two years ago, here comes Phase Two. This time a new colourway of the original men’s 576 sneaker has been created in a mix of classic Grenson full grain Italian calf leathers, including a burnished tan, dark brown and burnt Oak suede. In addition a women’s version has been created in Grenson Italian full grain tan calf, and winter white ruff-out suede. This shoe also features a “kiltie” as seen on traditional bench made shoes of the past. The real innovation, this time around is that the two companies have for the first ever time, made a Goodyear Welted, version of the 576, made entirely in the Grenson factory in Northamptonshire. Availablke now at Grenson.
