Le Coq Sportif’s latest drop this 2017 is the “Retro Affiches” pack, a collection which takes inspiration from France in the 70’s and 80’s. The Retro Affiches pack from Le Coq Sportif pays homage to French towns tourist posters from the late 1970’s and early 80’s. Each of the shoes in the pack reference an individual poster. The LCS R1000 uses Saint-Tropez as a palette to create a light, tonal shoe with obvious sand and water influence. The second shoe is the LCS R800 which uses Le Lavandou as its inspiration. These shoes are both constructed from a premium nubuck material and incorporate the colors of the poster which inspired them. This same image is reproduced onto the LCS tongue and shoe box. The soles feature an aged effect which accentuates the packs retro feel. To complete the pack LQS have made the collection limited to 400 pairs of each shoe worldwide. Available now at selected retailers such as Footpatrol.
