For each and every upper used, the production starts from carefully applying indigo dye to each piece of leather by skilled dyers. The shoe’s standout characteristics are a unique depth to the color, and subtle color variations and unevenness that come from hand dyeing. The color shade and depth are determined by the number of times the dye is applied, as no chemicals are used in the process. Both a dark indigo color and a lighter indigo color are available. The excellence of Japanese craftsmanship is reflected in each shoe, as great care is taken in the shoemaking process and leather cutting, sewing, shoe assembly and the finishing touches are all carried out in Japan. Releasing December 9 with special package exclusively at Afew.
