The Air Max 97 was designed with the runner entirely in mind. The full-length visible air unit provided enough cushioning to comfort high-impact runners, and keep casual wearers feeling light on their feet too. Previous ‘Country Camo’ releases have seen signature silhouettes like the Air Max 1, 90, 95 and 180 all be given the military wrap.
The combat theme covers majority of the upper. Shades of brown, green and black feature across the mudguard as well as the medial and lateral construct. Rope laces keep the foot securely locked in place, a green Swoosh sits on the sidewall, interchangeable velcro labels on the tongue feature the country of origin and Nike branding. Finally, a contrasting white midsole with a blacked-out air unit completes the look. Releasing soon at selected British retailers such as Footpatrol.
