Together with Parley, adidas Originals is launching the first two EQT silhouettes, some of which are made from recycled plastic. Sustainable product cooperation is designed to remind people in the core of the importance of protecting the environment. The futuristic EQT Support ADV by Parley comes with a comfortable mesh upper that is made from recycled Parley Ocean Plastic ™. To produce the material, fish net and other plastic waste were collected and recycled on the coastal regions of the Maldives. The resulting polyamide Econyl® functional yarn is woven into the upper material and processed in the rubber outer soles. Accents set the wavy seams, which take reference to the origin of the material. The two silhouettes have a heel insert made from recycled plastic, the Parley trademark logo on the tongue and insole, as well as a white EVA midsole with side three-strip branding. The recycled rubber outsole completes the innovative release.
