KICKS LAB, located in Harajuku Tokyo, the center of Japanese street fashion, who keep developing the Japanese sneaker culture to the world and Puma, the global sport brand which has more than 70 years of history and has been provided the most advanced sporting products to the athletes, are going to drop the special model "PUMA × KICKS LAB. DISC BLAZE "DESERT TROOPER" onOctober 22.

"Disc Blaze" was introduced to the world as the very first running sneaker that tightens the upper without shoe laces in early 90's. It was the time that all the sneaker brands competed in developing high-technology sneakers. They were widely appreciated as a master piece of the snekaers to the world for its slip-on like comfort and unique and functional "DISC system" to tightens up the built-in wire inside the upper. Sneaker freaks all over the world loved them because they are not only functional but also very stylish. Thus, it was natural for them to be the base model for many collaborations of sneaker boutiques. The design concept of this model is a "Desert Trooper". KICKS LAB took the ideas from the colors of the special forces in desert battle all around the world. For the main material, we selected suede in ivory cream color. The surface of the suede is roughed out reminding the desert. Black is used on the DISC systems, side form stripes and mesh on the upper while white the sole unit is in white color which is equipped with PUMA's superb cushioning technology "TRINOMIC". Excellent contrast and chic color combinations made them clearly different from an ordinary millitary concept sneakers but modern and stylish one.
