Nike Air Force 1 Flyknit.

by Henrik Buzzi

Thirty-four years after it's launch and 2,000 iterations later, the Air Force 1 - an iconic shoe with roots in basketball and legend status in street culture - remains one of Nike's most recognizable silhouettes. As a foundational design, it also presents an opportunity to reimage new visions of classics. To ushe the icon into the future, while taking it's legacy, use and symbolism into consideration, Nike designers tasked themselves with marrying the original silhouette and Nike breathable, lightweight Flyknit material. The Nike Air Force 1 is built with a fully Nike Flyknit base upper that is done in all-White. The shoe also features a mid-foot strap that is thinner than usual, leather back heel tab, and Nike Swoosh logos on each side. Completing the look is a White midsole and icy translucent outsole on the toe and back heel area. Available today at selected retailers such as Footpatrol.
