Adidas Nite Jogger OG.

by Henrik Buzzi

Originally released in 1979 to enhance the safety and visibility of the nocturnal jogger, adidas have dipped into their enviable archive to reintroduce the Nite Jogger. Informed by the styling of previously released silhouettes such as the adidas Country amongst others, the Nite Jogger is constructed from a one-piece leather upper with suede overlays adding support to the toe and laceset. Sat atop a studded gum sole unit with EVA midsole, the highlight of the sneaker is the distinctive bright orange three stripes to the side panels and trim to the rear quarter which were reflective to help guide motorists away from the wily runner. Finished with trefoil branding to the reflective heel tab, Ghilly lacing and gold branded tongue with ‘NITE JOGGER’ shoutout, this archival classic is complemented by a range of vintage-inform apparel decked out in the Nite Jogger’s retina-rattling colourway, as well as triple black iteration of the runner itself. Releasing 29th of September at End.
