hummel x FC St Pauli sneaker.

One of Hamburg’s best known quarters is St Pauli – not only due to the infamous red light district Reeperbahn, but as the home of local football heroes FC St Pauli. Historically St. Pauli was long known as one of the poorest districts in the city with the most millionaires in Germany. Over the last century St Pauli developed rapidly into becoming a hip area and now serves, between tough guys and easy women, as home to a diverse community of working class people, artists and students.
In addition to the Reeperbahn it is mostly football that signifies the city, and nowhere in the world has a small lower tier club such a local and international reputation as FC St Pauli. A club, as historical as the city itself, and with just as many ups and downs as the neighbourhood district. FC St. Pauli is the epitome of the so-called cult football clubs, and hardly any team or association has gathered more sympathy from friends and foes. From the contrasting origin of St Pauli and mixed with Danish sports design comes the new hummel x St Pauli sneaker. The sneaker is based on hummel’s Marathona silhouette and is released as a limited edition.
ummel x St Pauli uses a premium chocolate leather upper combined with details in the other club colours black and white as well as 3M details for contrast. St Pauli club crest is both embossed into the leather and added as a woven label on the tongue. The hummel x St Pauli sneaker will be released in a special wooden box with logo brandings.
