Diamond Jacquard is le coq sportif’s print for spring-summer 2015. It is decidedly feminine and has been used on iconic models and on the brand’s latest generation of sneakers. A descendent of the iconic LCS R1000 retro running shoe first released in 1990, the LCS R1400 Diamond Jacquard no longer has the multiple contrast onlays, just a single piece of colourful jacquard. The LCS R1400 features the Dynactif system, a technological innovation launched by the brand in the early '90s. At the time, the brand was the first to emphasise cushioning and foot protection, symbolised by the downward-pointing triangle, and recovery and propul¬sion, symbolised by the upward-pointing triangle. This season, le coq sportif is also making over the Flash and the Eclat, two other iconic running shoes from 1985 and 1990. The pack also includes the LCS R900, a new retro running shoe launched by the brand early in the year, and the Lagache. This feminine collection will be available from March in le coq sportif shops in Paris, London, Barcelona, and Milan, and at select partner outlets.
