Nike Air safari

by Henrik Buzzi

Nike Air Safari was originally released in 1987, designed by legendary Nike designer Tinker Hatfield. The Air Safari was part of the game-changing ‘Air Pack’ of 1987, which featured the Air Max 1, Air Trainer 1, Air Revolution, and Air Sock. The inspiration behind the famous Safari print came from a high-end furniture store in New York City, which displayed couches and coffee-tables that were priced in the tens of thousands. The Nike Air safari not only performed, they drove people bananas and everyone wanted to cope a pair. This spring you will find a lot of new colors, so get to your nearest store and get yourselves some Nike Air Safari’s.
