OSF was first held in September 2010 by a group of enthusiastic volunteers. In Europe it has long been a major commitment for sneakers, but Norway has lagged behind. Inspired by Sole Mart in Paris and Berlin, Sneakerness Amsterdam and London Sneaker Festival. We desire to build an arena for the various communities of street inspired fashion to a common event in Oslo. Every year there has been a little more exhibitors and even more visitors which shows that both the interest and the environment around sneakers are growing in Norway.
The event is designed to suit everyone, even for those who do not have a closet full of sneakers. Private collectors and official brands sell, exchange, and exhibit their sneakers and related clothing and accessories. Not only will the visitors see the largest sneaker collections, DJ’s play music all day while there are children's activities, contests and various artists who create art. The day ends with a real party. A better end of summer you will not find!
