HANON x FILA Mindblower "Gold Rush"

Originally released in 1995, the FILA Mindblower is a standout silhouette due to its distinctive FILA logo which spans across the sole unit and serves as the main design element of this classic 90s shoe. 23 years on from it’s inauguration, in 2018, FILA delved into its archives to revive the classic Mindblower silhouette and released an ambitious collaborative project which saw almost 50 releases across two iterations.

Following on from last years wealth of releases, this summer, HANON and FILA come together for the first time to unveil our Mindblower collaboration which has been dubbed - ‘Gold Rush’. The upper is executed in a mix of lush golden brown suede underlays and is contrasted by off white tumbled leather overlays. A pop of vibrant cherry tomato red appears on the heel section, and the full upper sits atop a clean white midsole and gum outsole.

Dual branding appears in the form of an embossed patch logo on the tongue, and also a printed logo lock-up on the insole, with our Flame branding appearing embossed on the heel. Limited to only 50 pairs globally, each pair comes complete with a bespoke box, and also a complimentary double pack of HANON Mindblower branded sports socks which mimic the ‘Gold Rush’ colorway. Sneaker Freaker x Asics Gel-Lyte III "Tiger Snake"

Christened the Gel-Tiger Snake, this venomous varmint is a nod to Sneaker Freaker’s native antipodean fauna and Asics’ historical origins as the Onitsuka Tiger company. Aggressive, deadly and badass to the bone, the tiger snake has a fearsome reputation as a predator. With its luxurious sandy belly and stripey black upper, the snake’s natural camouflage is perfect for hiding in plain sight.

Buttery beige cowhide is next-level opulence, while micro-perf toe panels and suede stripes add subtle sprinkles of texture. On the medial side, poppin’ pink reflective 3M adds a dazzling counterpoint to a blacked-out midsole laced with neuro-toxic splatter. Solid gold text across the nubuck heel is a touch of class among the mayhem. This GEL-Tiger Snake has serious fangs! To mark the occasion, Sneaker Freaker produced a heavily customised GEL-Tiger Snake box complete with psyched-out illustrations from Alexander Heir. Screen-printed by hand using fluoro ink infused with actual tiger snake venom, the packaging is just as deadly as the GEL-Tiger Snake.

Nike Shox R4 Neymar JR

When the Nike Shox R4 debuted in 2000, its sci-fi aesthetic and aggressive stance created an instant visceral response. "They were like a shoe of the future," recalls Brasilian football star Neymar JR. For him, the Shox R4 became an instant object of desire. Fittingly, the silhouette is the conduit for a duo of themed colorways baring the forward's name. The first follows on the metallic detailing and reflective elements of the launch colorway. By mirroring the hues of a watermelon, the second connects directly to the buzzing markets around São Paulo that were a constant in Neymar JR's childhood. “The crazy color combination,” he says of the shoe. “I like it!" Patta x Air Jordan VII collection

Patta has worked on a capsule collection with Jordan Brand, launching May 18th 2019. The collection, consisting of the Air Jordan VII “Patta,” a track suit, shorts, T-shirt and boonie hat, marks the first time Jordan Brand has partnered with a European brand.

For Patta’s Guillaume Schmidt and Vincent van de Waal, the Jordan VII was the only logical starting point for working with Jordan Brand. Launched in ’92, and subsequently eternally tied to that summer’s USA Basketball team, it arrived at a transformative point in both men’s youth and their respective interest in the culture they live and work in.

“It was a golden era for hip-hop and a big year for me, a lot of very important albums that I still carry with me came out between '92 and '96. And aesthetically, those years had such colorful imagery and strong connections to black empowerment. The VII and its geometric patterns also have a reference to Africa,” says Schmidt, a native of Suriname who grew up an hour from Amsterdam in basketball-crazed 's Hertogenbosch.”Van de Waal, Patta’s creative director, was drawn to the Jordan VII’s elegant shape and the minimal marking (it is the first Jordan without any Nike branding). Today, Van de Waal is effusive about the shoe stating, “It is my all-time favorite.”


The footwear itself plays only part of the story, as both Schmidt and Van de Waal recognized immediately the power of the full package surrounding the VII. “The VII apparel was out of this world. The products that we worked on come straight from a short Jordan clip from Barcelona that became super famous. It features a segment where Michael walks past a huge billboard of himself where he's got the shoes on, and that image has been forever etched in my memory,” says Gee. Reviving the patterns of those original garments, Patta is also able to tie in its branding subtly though incorporation of the script logo and “TEAM PATTA” word marks. “We see ourselves as a strong team where everyone has their place, so the concept of ‘TEAM PATTA’ has always been important to our history,” says Van de Waal. Handcrafted at Diadora's Caerano di San Marco factory, the 'Lido' brings aquatic aesthetics to the Cervo leather and pig skin nubuck uppers, while a clear blue sole underfoot unveils an inviting Baltic shade that has been embellished with subaqueous reflections. Tooled with an EVA midsole for premium comfort, the towelling sockliner delivers a soft step. Emblazoned with co-branded detailing throughout, the N90002 'Lido' swims laps around the competition. Nike x sacai LDWaffle and Blazer Mid

Fashion designer Chitose Abe of sacai approaches collaborations with a distinct clarity: She looks to find a genuine connection that allows her to create something new and unexpected. Her design itself balances two ideas: stability and betrayal. Abe's aim is to simultaneously give light to the familiar and the new.

She does this with the Nike x sacai LDWaffle and Blazer Mid, both of which debuted at sacai's SS19 runway show in Paris in June 2019. For example, Abe employs her signature ethos on the Nike x sacai LDWaffle by pulling two heritage Nike silhouettes into a single hybrid form. The "betrayal" elements of this exercise include doubled elements, like the Swoosh and tongue, as well as elongated midsoles. Abe delivers "stability" through the familiar retro color scheme. The Nike x sacai LDWaffle and Nike x sacai Blazer Mid release at selected retailers globally on May 16 and May 30.

HANON x Le Coq Sportif LCS R800 'The Good Agreement' MIF

HANON and Le Coq Sportif join forces this summer and are proud to present a ‘Made in France’ sequel edition to our 2018 collaboration – The Good Agreement.

For this project HANON connect once again on the iconic LCS R800 running shoe and revisit ‘The Good Agreement’ theme as their source of inspiration. ‘Bon Accord’, the French translation for ‘good agreement’ is the official motto of our hometown Aberdeen and a slogan that dates back to the ancient alliance between France and Scotland during the middle ages.

This Made in France edition of the LCS R800 welcomes a ‘New Alliance’ and unites the best of France, Scotland and England by combining three companies each dating back more than 100 years. Manufactured exclusively in the old city of Angers on the West of France, the shoe is fused with a combination of suedes sourced in England and a technical cotton fabric produced in Scotland.

Executed in an understated color application, the shoe features on upper of plush suede by CF Stead’s legendary tannery in Leeds, England and a cotton performance fabric by Halley Stevensons of Dundee in Scotland. Established in 1904 and 1864 respectively, both Charles F. Stead and Halley Stevensons to this day continue to produce premium materials for the world’s most renowned luxury brands. Additional features include a microperfed pigskin – applied to the lining and collar of the shoe whilst a plush suede laminate insole is finished with a stitched leather overlay. Dual branded detail is added throughout - detailed on each heel and woven to both tongue loops, whilst a tricolor stitch symbolises the Made In France production of the shoe.

Presented in a sleek black box printed with both logos, as well as a hang tag and four lace sets, the HANON x le coq sportif LCS R800 ‘The Good Agreement’ MIF will be available from HANON on May 4.

Naked x Nike P-6000

Borrowing design codes from the 00s, the P-6000 is a unique fusion of Nike’s Pegasus 2006 and Pegasus 25 models. This sneaker comes with an eye-catching reflective leather and mesh upper, with distinct vertical neon-yellow overlays and a patent Swoosh. A Cushion midsole and waffle outsole complete this vibrant, vintage-flavored model.

This striking Naked-exclusive colorway was inspired by the underground techno scene which exists in our native hometown, Copenhagen. To commemorate the launch of the P-6000, we have partnered with Nike to present a high- octane campaign shot in a futuristic wasteland. Equipped with just a motorbike between them, an effervescent couple find themselves scrapping amongst chalk precipices and translucent pools. The shoe will be available exclusively at naked April 27.

Leveraging adidas’ extensive archive of computational athletic data, ADIDAS 4D is a high-performance midsole crafted with light and oxygen using Digital Light Synthesis™ printing technology. The Y-3 RUNNER 4D II features uppers comprised of a white double-layer knit, which further increases stability in the lower part of the shoe. The inner layer is woven with the adidas 3-stripe motif and bears the Yohji Yamamoto logo at its center. In a clever design feat, both layers are connected by a lightweight, ultra-strength cording made of high tensile. A synthesis of form and function, this distinct cording defines the new aesthetic language of the Y-3 RUNNER 4D II and simultaneously provides the shoe’s lacing system. This yields a confident new expression of the ADIDAS 4D vision. AMBUSH® x Nike Air Max 180

Mytheresa will launch one of the highly anticipated co-branded creations of sportswear brand Nike, with talented Japanese designer Yoon Ambush. Debuted on a London runway last fall and first released in February, the Converse x JW Anderson Run Hike has enjoyed instant interest due to its sleek combination of past and present aesthetics. The mash-up silhouette is now realized in black.

The  Converse x JW Anderson Grid — a staple since the beginning of this partnership —returns with a split application of the archival American Flag print. AFEW x Fortuna x Mizuno Sky Medal "Heimat"

Düsseldorf – Home of more than 600000 people, home of all cultures, home of the AFEW STORE. The city offers a multi-faceted population, a multicultural population, a cosmopolitan population. The big theme of this collaboration is “HEIMAT” Eng. Home.

AFEW are honored to take part in this project. Especially in current times, they want to show and represent a city and a family where every culture is welcome, where everyone lives together peacefully. And the best way to represent your hometown is to show it through your local sports club.

Therefore, AFEW teamed up with the Bundesliga football club Fortuna Düsseldorf and the Japanese sportswear brand Mizuno to design a sneaker, a football boot, a t-shirt and a fan scarf. All of these items have of course the colorway of the football club. To represent a multicultural Düsseldorf and its inhabitants properly, they create a graphic, where “HEIMAT” is written down in more than 30 different languages.

This “international Heimat” graphic is found on each collaboration item. In addition, they combine the AFEW and the Fortuna Düsseldorf Logo. The result is the AF95EW lettering. The F95 is Fortuna’s very own logo, which refers to their foundation in 1895. They also designed a graphic made of a “95” and a “12”. In football, the number “12” is meant for the supporters and fans. Releasing April 20 at AFEW.

Fear of God x Nike Raid

Jerry Lorenzo saw the Nike Air Raid for the first time as a high school sophomore when a fellow student came into class with it on. The shoe itself was an immediate object of desire. Lorenzo loved the gray and black color scheme, he said, and the nuances of the geometric patterns and the impact of the crossed straps. He noted there was a positive, pro-Black feeling about it. It was the first Nike shoe outside of Jordan he had an emotional connection to.

As the lead element of the second Nike Air Fear of God release, the Nike Air Fear of God Raid, extends the notion of spirit from the court to the larger cultural milieu around the game. It reminds that the aural and the visual are equally important in defining the tenor of time.

Because of that the Nike Air Raid is a perfect conduit for Lorenzo's design construct. Giving it new shape and new life doesn't recreate the past, it gives the present time an object of its own to with which to shepard the tone of this time. The second drop of Nike Air Fear of God follows Lorenzo's desire to honor Nike's historically strong design language through modern shape and proportion. The Nike Air Fear of God Raid releases April 27.

Shelflife x adidas Consortium ZX 4000

Since it first came into being, adidas Consortium has been committed to bringing together partners, retailers and collectives who exemplify a unique, fearless approach to collaboration. Each new partnership offers up a creative new take on the iconic styles that adidas has developed over the decades. In doing so they shine an entirely new light on the sportswear brand’s high-performance technologies and commitment to craftsmanship.

Dating back to 2006 when there was little to no sneaker culture in South Africa, and a hard time to find anything in the market, Shelflife was born. Gradually over the years building up a scene and pioneering the way in South Africa. Shelflife launched and celebrated even the most basic of silhouettes starting at ground level, and working our way up. Side by side the entire journey with local artists, musicians and graffiti artists, telling the brands story, making us locally relevant and educating the customer. This formed a strong platform to grow.

Applying this very concept: a strong base, a strong heritage, using everything local that inspires us from textiles, diversity, fabrics and materials, we have built up in many layers the Shelflife ZX4000, not only to be our own, but taking something monumentally strong, and telling our story to be locally and globally relevant.

Taking on the formidable heritage of the adidas ZX running shoe series, we bring their own eye-catching approach to a new iteration of the ZX4000 model.  Viewed straight-on from the outside, the Shelflife version is defined by its understated use of luxurious greyscale nubuck and woven fabric underlays that evoke the historic craftsmanship of the retailers’ home country. On foot and in action however, the medial side of the shoe is revealed, showcasing a colorful, jacquard-printed panel. The adidas Consortium x Shelflife ZX 4000 drops April 13 at Shelflife.
